云南师范大学给全体留学生的一封信

亲爱的同学们:

自新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情发生以来,云南师范大学始终把学生的生命安全和身体健康放在第一位。当前,新冠肺炎疫情在全球蔓延,学校更加牵挂你们,为了各位同学的生命安全与身体健康,特向你们提出如下要求:

1.  随时关注和了解所在国家、地区政府、公共卫生管理机构、所在院校关于疫情防控的规定与要求,严格遵守中国和所在国家、地区的相关要求,积极配合所在地采取的疫情防控措施。

2.  从主流媒体了解、学习新冠肺炎预防知识和相关信息,对关于疫情来源不明的信息提高警惕,不信谣、不传谣、不恐慌,增强辨别能力,提高防骗意识。

3.  尽量减少不必要的外出,取消旅游、探亲等涉及人员流动的计划,尤其避免聚会、聚餐和到医院、机场、车站、商场等人员密集的公共场所活动,降低感染风险。

4.  保持良好的卫生习惯,勤洗手勤通风,饭前便后,用洗手液或香皂流水洗手,或使用含酒精成分的免洗洗手液;不确定手是否清洁时,避免用手接触口鼻眼;打喷嚏或咳嗽时,用衣肘遮住口鼻。

5.  健康生活、合理作息,避免熬夜和过度疲劳,保证睡眠;适度进行室内体育锻炼,增强体质,提高对病毒的抵抗力。理性面对疫情,及时调整心理和情绪,避免负面因素影响个人生活和学习。

6.  加强信息登记和健康管理,务必按照班主任的各项通知如实提供有关信息并做好日报告制度,如所在位置、行动轨迹、体温监测、健康状况、人员接触史、个人旅居史等。

7.  严格纪律要求,不得在学校正式通知开学前入境返校。如有违反,则按照学校有关规定进行严肃处理。

8.  如出现发热、乏力、干咳等疑似症状时,及时到医疗机构就诊,并主动告知医生疫区流动史或病例接触史,并积极配合医疗机构做好排查、隔离和医治,并立即如实向学校报告感染或者是密切接触的情况。

病毒没有国界,而人类是同一个命运共同体,无论你现在身处何处,公共卫生安全是所有人面临的共同挑战,我们相信,秉承“刚毅坚卓”的校训,大家团结一心,必能共克时艰。

A Letter from Yunnan Normal University to All International Students

 

Dear students,

 

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Yunnan Normal University has always put the safety and health of students first. At present, COVID-19 is spreading around the world, and the university has become more concerned about you all. To ensure the safety and health of students, we hereby request the following:

 

1. Pay close attention to the regulations and requirements of the epidemic prevention and control of the host country, regional government, public health management institution, and the universityStrictly abide by the relevant requirements of China and the host country and region, and actively cooperate with the epidemic prevention and control measures adopted.

 

2. Understand and learn about the prevention of COVID-19 and relevant information from mainstream media, and be alert to information about the unknown source of the epidemic. Do not believe rumors, do not spread rumors, do not panic, enhance your ability to distinguish truth from false, and increase awareness of fraud prevention.

 

3. Minimize unnecessary outings and cancel plans that involve personnel movements, such as travel and visiting relatives. Especially avoid gatherings, dinning together, going to densely populated public places such as hospitals, airports, stations, shopping malls and other activities to reduce the risk of infection.

 

4. Maintain good hygienic habits, wash your hands and ventilate frequently, wash your hands with hand sanitizer or soap and running water before meals or after using the toilet, or use hand sanitizers that contain alcohol; when you are not sure whether your hands are clean, avoid touching your mouth, nose or eyes; cover your nose and mouth with your bent elbow when sneezing or coughing.

 

5. Keep a healthy lifestyle, maintain reasonable work and rest, avoid staying up late and excessive fatigue, ensure enough sleep; practice moderate indoor physical exercise to enhance your fitness and improve your immunity to the virus. Please face the epidemic rationally and adjust your mentality and emotions in time to avoid negative factors affecting personal and academic life.

 

6. To strengthen information recording and health management, be sure to provide relevant information truthfully and complete a daily reporting system including your location, movement, temperature monitoring, health status, personal contact history, personal travel history and so on according to the notices from the head teacher.

 

7. Strictly observe the discipline. You are not allowed to enter People’s Republic of China and Yunnan Normal University before the official notice of school opening. Violations will be dealt seriously in accordance with relevant school regulations.

 

8. If you have fever, fatigue, dry cough and other suspected symptoms, please go to the medical institution promptly, and actively inform the doctor of the travel history in the epidemic area or the history of contact with the case, and actively cooperate with the medical institution to conduct screening, isolation and treatment, and immediately and truthfully report to the university of such infection or close contacts.

 

The virus sees no borders, and mankind is a community of shared destiny. No matter where you are now, public health security is a common challenge facing all people. We believe that by adhering to the school discipline of "fortitude and persistence", we will unite as one and tackle the current difficulties firmly.
